Consider Going Pro

A pro will accurately measure your garage door for you.

They’ll clean up the mess and dispose of your old garage door.

You don’t have to worry about accidentally voiding your warranty.

Here’s how to measure your garage door.

Width

First, measure the width of the opening at the widest point. This is the distance between the right and left sides of the finished opening. Check to see if your floor is uneven.

Height

Next, measure the height of the door. This is the distance between the floor and the top of the finished opening. Measure the area between the top of the door opening and the ceiling (or the lowest obstruction from the ceiling).

Depth

Last, measure the distance from the opening to the rear of the garage.

Now, let’s go over materials.

Each material has its own unique benefits. We’ll help you find the one that matches your lifestyle.
